…………………………. WBC Mediterranean cruiserweight king Goran Babic (8-1-2) will defend the title against Jonathan Kogassi (10-0) on April 13 at the Allianz Cloud in Milan, Italy. Babic is of Serbian descent but is based in Stockholm (Sweden). He won the title by stopping Belgian Kamel Kouaouch (12-3) and has previously challenged for both the Serbian and Swedish titles. Kogassi represented Kongo in the 2019 World championships but has been based in Italy for a few years now. Lauren, 48 years old, has told media in Sweden that she never wanted to retire but had to take a break to concentrate on a becoming a mother. Hans Huber has passed away at the age of 90 in Regensburg, Germany. Huber represented West Germany in the 1964 Olympics and made it all the way to finals where he lost to Joe Frazier, who went on to become heavyweight champion of the world while Huber settled in for a career outside of the ropes and never turned pro. ………………………………………….
